“In just one week, Russia has used over 800 guided aerial bombs, nearly 300 Shahed drones, and more than 60 missiles of various types against our people,” the Ukrainian leader commented on the published footage.

This terror can only be reliably stopped by striking Russian military airfields and bases, according to Zelenskyy.

“We must achieve this,” the Ukrainian president said.

Zelenskyy also highlighted the ongoing daily work to secure more powerful “long-range” solutions to support Ukraine’s defense.

“This was a key topic in my discussion with our partners during the Ramstein meeting,” he added.

The meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group took place at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Sept. 6, which Zelenskyy attended in person.

The Ukrainian leader, in particular, criticized Western allies for delaying the delivery of ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles to Kyiv.

The president also appealed to London and Washington to ease restrictions on the use of weapons for striking deep into Russian territory.
