“Brussels officials said they’ve obtained evidence that Tehran has been supplying Russia with ballistic missiles for use in Ukraine,” the report stated.
EU representatives confirmed they’ve seen proof of Iran’s missile shipments to Russia.
Iran has previously denied accusations of supplying weapons to any party involved in the war.
Iranian weapons supply to Russia: What we know
The U.S. has accused Iran of supplying Russia with Shahed-131/136 drones, Mohajer-6 drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to aid Russia in its war against Ukraine. According to media reports, in exchange, Russia has provided Iran with cyberweapons, Western arms “captured on the battlefield,” and has also helped Tehran advance its missile program.

Additionally, Russia has been producing Iranian kamikaze drones within a special economic zone in Alabuga, located in the Tatarstan region. Iran supplies materials and technology, but officially denies doing so.
In Nov. 2023, The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. officials believed Iran was preparing to deliver short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for use in Ukraine.
On Aug. 9, 2024, Reuters, citing European intelligence sources, reported that Iran might soon supply Russia with hundreds of Fath-360 missiles.
On Sep. 6, The Times, also citing its own sources, reported that Russia had already received over 200 Fath-360 ballistic missiles from Iran.
