In temporarily occupied Crimea, following the collapse of a road bridge on the Dzhankoi – Maslove route and the damage to the railway tracks beneath it, cargo transportation, including military shipments, has been halted, Russian media reports.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 13.
Representatives of the occupation administration did not initially disclose the cause of the bridge collapse, and Russian emergency services reported injuries at the scene.
Later, the occupiers’ “Investigative Committee” in the region claimed the bridge collapsed due to the passage of heavy transport vehicles that were overloaded.
As of today, according to Kremlin media, transportation on this route between the Ukrainian Dzhankoi district on the peninsula under Russian control and the mainland in the south remains suspended.

On November 14, the “Southern Suburban Passenger Company” informed representatives of a propaganda outlet that “electric train service has been suspended on the Solonoe Ozero – Dzhanki segment in Crimea due to the bridge collapse.”
Meanwhile, just yesterday, the occupation “Ministry of Transport” had claimed that there were supposedly no disruptions in railway services following the bridge collapse on the Dzhankoi – Maslove highway.
According to representatives of the Ukrainian partisan group “Atesh,” Russian occupiers frequently transport military equipment via Dzhankoi to mainland Ukraine, using the railways. For the occupiers, Dzhankoi serves as a crucial military logistics hub.
It is worth noting that in May, partisans reported prolonged logistical issues for Russia after an attack on the airfield in occupied Dzhankoi, Crimea.
Additionally, last March, following a series of explosions in Dzhankoi — a key railway junction—the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces stated that strikes on the occupiers’ logistics would continue.
