Meanwhile, Serhii Bratchuk, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Volunteer Army South, disclosed the location. According to him, the building hit was in the village of Vesele in the Hlushkovsky District of Kursk Oblast.

Russia’s attack on Poltava on Sept. 3

On Sept. 3, the terrorist state of Russia struck Poltava with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles.

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, commenting on the missile strike on Poltava, said, “The aggressor nation must answer for every person killed, for every life torn apart.”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian missile was in flight for about three minutes, leaving people no time to reach shelters.

On Sept. 5, emergency rescue operations at the site of Russia’s missile strike on the Telecommunications Institute in Poltava were completed.

On Sept. 8, the Poltava Oblast Administration reported that the death toll from the Russian strike had risen to 58.
